"Sun Newspapers Readers Choice Awards 2020 - Bloomington - Richfield "Best Photographer"
After more than a year on the sidelines there is finally a path forward through COVID 19!
The studio at Richfield Portrait Photography will reopen on June 3rd.
Appointments are open for booking now.
My name is Mandy Stadther and I am owner - operator of Richfield Portrait Photography.
For nearly nine years and 4000 mini sessions later Richfield Portrait Photography has delivered quality, creative and affordable family photography.
Session fees start at either $50 for a 30 minute session and $80 for one hour for birthday, milestone or seasonal sessions.
The session fee is all you pay for all the photos we took. I put your images on a USB which you take home with you or you can buy a USB from me for $10.
I would be happy to make simple edits for up to 10 photos for issues such as newborn rashes, pimples or drool.
The session fee is per household.
Although I keep things pretty simple, there are plenty of backdrops and props. I have more than 100 backdrops, many fake cakes and cupcakes, things to sit on and ride as well as many seasonal props. You can browse through the galleries to pick out a backdrop that matches your outfits before you arrive to maximize photo taking time.
If you have any questions please use the "contact" form at the bottom of the page or use the chat icon on the home page.
Birthday, milestone and seasonal session - $50 for 30 minutes or $80 for one hour. Seasonal sessions include Valentines, Christmas, July 4th, Easter and Fall sessions outdoors. This includes one quick outfit change. Siblings are welcome.
Newborns - One hour $120. These sessions are very simple. Baby is awake and mostly photographed on his/her back. If baby drifts off to sleep we can try for some tummy shots.
These sessions are focused entirely on baby.
Headshots - 30 minutes $70. These sessions are suitable for business cards and online profiles and include up to three outfit changes. These sessions are not limited to just heads we can do other poses too!
Cake Smash - One hour $90. These sessions include two outfit changes. We begin with the birthday outfit for some photos with a couple different backdrops, a number one and the fake cakes. Then we put on a diaper cover or a tutu and get smashing! You supply the cake but there is no need to bring a large cake, a six inch cake or large cup cake works just as well.
Pets - 45 minutes $80. All pets are welcome from critters to dogs. Photos are taken in the studio which is secure area. Please don't let your pet off leash until we are in the studio. We have a few minutes to sniff and wag and calm down and then we begin. Peeps can be included too!
Family - 30 minutes for $50 or one hour for $80.
The price is per household. Grandparents and single family members are free if accompanying family.
In October and November we take advantage of the Fall colors and move outdoors to a Richfield park.
Over the years I have accumulated a lot of stuff! I went on a crafting frenzy a few years ago and made more than 50 headbands, chunky necklaces and dozens of tutus.
This is what it is all for - travelling the world.
Below is a link to my fine art website and as many penguins as you can handle!
This whole thing with photography started 45 years ago.
Sometimes a movie means so much you have to have a special session to celebrate. When "Frozen" first came out in 2013 the "Frozen" sessions were so popular I had to run them again last year with updated props and fashion.
They will be available again this year at $80 for a one hour session. We sing "Let It Go" over and over. and siblings can join in the fun.
She was only three but she had very clear ideas about what she wanted to do.
She asked where her stage would be and I said I didn't have a real stage so she rolled her three-year-old eyes and decided she could muddle through with what I had.
She checked my props to make sure I had everything she needed and she wore every dress I had.
She was utterly fearless, sang her her heart out and meant every single word.
Mom asked her if this was the best day ever and she said it was. Then she swept out of the room with a fistful of candy as only a true diva can.
Her photos are below.
